Wright CEO Departures Wright to retire from AASHTO Bud Wright will retire as CEO of the $88M-revenue American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials by the end of the year. Wright has led AASHTO since 2013. He previously was a transportation policy consultant who had spent seven years as executive director of the Federal Highway Administration during the administration of President George W. Bush.
